Or maybe they promised him first team football he wouldn't get at Atletico. Wouldn't be surprised if they saw him as a market opportunity like Samu Omorodion and their plan was to buy for cheap, loan for a season to increase his value and then sell to a Porkchop league.

Not sure how much he'll play at Cruzeiro alongside Gabigol and Kaio Jorge though.

Also, Villarreal should have signed him for obvious reason.

I get not going to Atletico or Barca, but unless you ageee a buyout clause, going to Brazil at 20 is a bit unconventional for my taste. I think it would have been better to go to Belgium for example.

Is the Zidane kid any good? A 1.94 left footed CB will always be highly thoughted in football.

PS: A bit ironic that of all Zidane's kids, the shortest one ended up being a GK

Prestianni looks like a good player. Of course already part of Benfica.

Argentina struggling a bit vs tough, quick and quite big Colombians.

Edit: huge loss for the Colombia to lose #20. Looked like their best player.

He was super hyped few years ago, more than the likes of Echeverri and Mastantuono and was even linked to a move to us.

He didn't develop well and it seems he is held back by his lack of size. Benfica allowing him to join this tournament speaks volume about his first team chances. Very entertaining guy to watch, though.

This game feels like PL club vs Barcelona. Tough and physical team vs better skill, but tinier and maybe physically weaker players. Colombia has impressive physical attributes. Argentina better skill.

So far Colombia more impressive.

Makes sense! To this level it seems enough, his quickness, speed and skill. Curious how far he will go.
