Well, not a first. Madrid usually sell players they don't want to keep anymore in EPL for big bucks. Di Maria, Ozil, Odeegard, not anything new. If they want to sell Vinicius, I can see an EPL side getting him for well over 100m as well. Great market for them.

But this begs the question, if someone like Brahim goes for 70m how much would someone like Fermin cost, who compared with Brahim is a big game player with multiple goals in the Clasico and 4 years younger. He'll have to be a good bit over that.

Normally, because he already plays for a club that can bring him pretty much every title he competes for.

Yes, but they are Tottenham. Nobody goes to Tottenham from a big club unless if they aren't good enough to play for likes of Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona, PSG etc.

These EPL teams have money, but that's about it. Of course you're gonna spend it on the likes of Brahim Diaz. What else you're gonna do, it's not like you can sign Vitinha or Pedri lol.

Exactly. It works for all parties, because Brahim is not a bad player and even above what Tottenham have in midfield. But the biggest winner is Madrid who can use that 70m, add their pulling power, prestige and everything, and do damage on the market with that money.
