95 goals out of 159 games playing for Leipzig.

12 goals out of 52 games playing for Chelsea.

watch out Haaland.

Thats what i said before him went to chelsea: He got lots of chances at leipzig, i saw many matches from him there and he had missed tons of good chances and got olts of tap ins to score. He wasnt that bad though, and im sure he will be better next season but it doesnt surprise me that he needs lots of chances to score, that classic werner. Haaland is different class.

Werners finishing been abysmal this season but last night shows how much plaayers with pace and workrate can matter to a game plan and choices coach has.

Finishing terrible but City were dragged all over place by his movement

That's why old Messi and Suarez on top is awful idea.

Scary player if he does it. But he does seem to have that unreliable finishing, looks more than just a temporary slump.

Usually every striker has this phase for 1 or 2 years at some point. It's interesting though how often this keeps happening to Chelsea. Every big striker they rotated through since Drogba ended up with an underwhelming goal tally and lots of misses and memes. Arguably Werner is improving the offense regardless though with assists, runs and winning penalties etc. From all the Chelsea flops this past decade Werner he looks like the best fit for them, and he could be quite great if he ups his finishing again.

He.deserves another season. His misses this last year have been school boy standard, but if his goal form comes back, Chelsea have a great strikers line up.

It says very much about the quality of today's football if this guy is a starting striker for the champions of Europe. He is as mediocre as they exist, bUt hE HaS PaCe. ;)

basically a pedro with worse finishing. imagine if pedro was in his prime right now, hype would have been through the roof.

Pace and movement away from ball matters.

Werner and Chelsea showed that at weekend.

It is an element every team needs and City couldnt cope with movement up top of Chelsea which played major part in the win.

I think City are really overrated. And they showed fully saturday night. And what good it is if you have pace, but you can't score even in a brothel? Werner is mediocre, really, one of the worst in that Chelsea team.

Werner was one of key reasons they beat City even if his finishing as usual was poor.

Proved how much pace matters in a team.

City won hardest league in world and lost CL final by a goal. Not quite over rated.

They were seen as this all conquering team, and they are not. Yes, they won the PL, but all big teams were shit this season. United is nothing special and they finished comfortably on second. The key to that Chelsea team is neither of the players, it's Tuchel. He is a great coach.

They were seen as what they are. Best team in best league and one of favs for CL.

United are irrelevant to point being made.

Pep is better coach that Tuchel.
