Thats what i said before him went to chelsea: He got lots of chances at leipzig, i saw many matches from him there and he had missed tons of good chances and got olts of tap ins to score. He wasnt that bad though, and im sure he will be better next season but it doesnt surprise me that he needs lots of chances to score, that classic werner. Haaland is different class.

Every big striker they rotated through since Drogba ended up with an underwhelming goal tally and lots of misses and memes. Arguably Werner is improving the offense regardless though with assists, runs and winning penalties etc. From all the Chelsea flops this past decade Werner he looks like the best fit for them, and he could be quite great if he ups his finishing again.

They were seen as this all conquering team, and they are not. Yes, they won the PL, but all big teams were shit this season. United is nothing special and they finished comfortably on second. The key to that Chelsea team is neither of the players, it's Tuchel. He is a great coach.
