He will certainly add something different to Liverpool.
IF you think how different players Fabinho, Thiago, Winaldum, Keita are it's amazing variety of skills at Klopp's disposal.

Only problem is there are too many midfielders (like 7 first-team choices: the above 4 plus Henderson, Ox, Milner). Sounds like too many for 3 positions

Klopp likes players who can play in multiple positions. He's also been increasingly using the 4-2-3-1 formation too as a plan B.

Thiago always wanted to play in England for quite some time. So it's no wonder he signed for Liverpool. Besides Barca is a clown club these days. No one established wants a piece of that.

Going to come back to haunt Bayern if they meet Pool in the CL. Which they should considering they're the 2 strongest sides.

I never understood why strong teams are so willing to give up momentum.

Thiago served Bayern for 7 Years. It was his wish to move to get 1 last experience . Bayern are not Barcelona , they respect their Players and wishes sometimes

They seem the two strongest sides now, but that can change. In 2019 when Liverpool stomped Bayern few would have predicted them being the best in a year's time.

More a case of wanting to get some money before his contract runs out

Sad we are no longer the destination club. Wish he was coming to us. Feels like Liverpool are pickpocketing one of our finest. How did it get to this? Liverpool would smash us if we played tomorrow ...

He's right about wanting to protect the players.

One remedy to the intense schedule would be for FIFA to allow 11 subs per game
