What about asking Messi if he wants it? Imagine Laporta builds the statue and Messi doesn't come to unveiling.

He should have a statue, probably we should rename CN in his name if we weren't money grabbing whores who sold even the name of the stadium. But the statue shouldn't be built by the guy who treated Messi like this fat piece of shit did.

Laporta didnt quite announce there will be a statue he said they would look at designs and if Messi family approved it then proceed.

Will obviously all depend on where Messi relationship is at with Laporta at time.

Yeah, sadly it's politics again from Laporta for the upcoming election. As long as Messi still plays football, a statue is ridiculous.
