Federer, Tiger, and MJ are probably the 3 most marketable athletes in recent history.

Tiger actually cleared Federer in earnings though. He was making over 100m away from golf back in the mid 2000s. In comparison to footballers, Ronaldinho was only making around 20m in endorsements at the time and Messi and Ronaldo didn't break 50m in endorsements until last 2-3 years even with inflation and overall athlete earnings increasing massively since then.

Agreed. Djokovic is great in interviews too but there are times when he comes across as if he's trying very hard to be well liked. There's that chip on his shoulder.
