I can‘t wait to watch this guy. He‘s fit now after he got injured for the French U20 national team and might make his debut next weekend.
Everyone who watched him seems to believe that he‘s gonna become a world class player. In fact, Ralf Rangnick (former RB Leipzig coach), says that Nianzou (that‘s how he wants to be called, not Kouassi) is already world class and was already on Upamecano‘s level at the age of 17 (!). He’s been watching Nianzou for more than two years because he wanted to bring him to Leipzig, so he knows him very well. Rangnick believes that within a year, Nianzou is gonna be a starter for Bayern and he calls him one of the greatest defensive talents he‘s ever seen.
Today, Thomas Tuchel‘s assistant coach at PSG, Zsolt L?w, gave an interview to a German football magazine called kicker and calls Nianzou "the greatest talent I have ever seen".
It seems like despite a possible departure of Alaba and Boateng, we won‘t have to go for Upamecano (I‘ve seen a lot of you discussing a possible Upamecano transfer to Bayern).
