Posted positions most discussed recently. Included CB too.
You can vote 3 max as I doubt Barca making many signings.

Goalkeeper or striker.

Obviously Lewy has been good for Barca at points, but he will be 37 at the start of the season. Much too old for a number 9. Torres can't really be trusted to lead the line.

Szczesny has always been a good goalkeeper, but isn't elite, especially at his age. Though Barca have got by with non-elite Gks in the past - Valdes, Bravo, Ter Stegen.

If Balde is injured more then a LB becomes a concern too. LW should be fine as I assume Raphina will keep playing there when fit.

There's a good amount of CBs at Barca and I feel the conceding of goals is more down to the system, the desire to attack and Cubarsi being inexperienced, than all of them not being good enough. An upgrade on the likes odf Martinez, Araujo and Christensen could make a big difference though - a leader like Virgil would have been amazing. I think it would be good to have a new RB because Kounde could do well in his natural position of CB. Though Kounde or another conservative RB playing there offers more balance when the LB is more attacking as Balde is or as Martin was against Inter.

Midfield and number 10 is the deepest area of the squad in terms of both quality and quantity. Lots of ability there and help control and dominate possession as is Barca's style and what they should always do.

Of course, the question is the funds with all the financial issues. But in a perfect world a new starting GK (not saying Tek is bad, just not elite), a new starting number 9, and a new pair of full-backs could be good.

These are the signings that will elevate us to a new level but before that I think it would be necessary to fill the gaps in squad depth first

-RB and LB are the biggest weaknesses and probably the cheapest to address, few solid games from Eric and Martin (arguably) doesn't change what we have seen all season long.

An attacker is needed, but a fancy name is not a priority. Just get someone who is La Liga starter level, not Segunda level as Fati and Pau.

Those are the biggest needs and priority.

GK if Tek leaves should be a priority, he already has an offer so we are past the "let's not renew him and buy new GK" point. It is up to Tek now. He leaves, a starting caliber GK has to be signed.

In terms of starting line up, an elite CB could make the biggest difference to the team, however I doubt we have the funds or the availability of options.

Already voted GK before I edited to be able to pick 3
Other two for me would be LB and striker.

RB can be covered by Eric, Araujo, Casado. LF with Fermin or Gavi and we'll be promoting Diarra and maybe more.

Backup LW and LB
This.

If we get a backup LW, Raphinha can play at RW when Yamal is rested. Ferran becomes a permanent ST option.

The front line needs to rotate much more often next season.

LB, because it is the biggest downgrade in our backline if one of the starters is not available.

I don't see us signing a ST and GK this transfer window. Lewandowski, MATS and Chesny will stay.

The first priority is obviously a left-winger. We urgently need to give Rapha more pauses, or Lamine, so Rapha can take over the right side without the team losing speed. Ferran is too slow for that role, Pau and Fati should leave the club in the summer, as they're simply not good enough.

If Flick sees Ferran as Lewy's backup and rotation, I can live with that. Not my ideal solution, but we can't be picky right now and though Ferran has clear weaknesses, he's sufficient for now. So far we didn't lose games because of him.

There are reports that Flick sees Dani Rodriguez in Pau Victor's role next season. If he trusts him, than one additional LW is enough to strengthen the attack.

Rapha/new LW Lewy/Ferran Lamine/Dani Rodriguez

We don't need to do anything in the midfield obviously. We're more than filled here with quality and quantity. Olmo, Fermin, Gavi, Pedri, Casado, Bernal and if necessary Garcia, Christensen, even if Christensen will leave the club. That makes 8 (7) players for 3 positions. More than enough. Torre should leave the club.

Olmo/Fermin/Gavi
Pedri/Casado Frenkie/Bernal (Garcia, Christensen)

The defense will depend on Flick and how much he trusts the current squad. Either Flick trusts Fort and gives him more minutes, or the club needs to sell him and bring a new player to give Kounde rotations. Shouldn't be a competition type though, as Kounde is clearly ahead of most RBs in the world and doesn't need many pauses being in his prime and being a physical beast with the most minutes in Europe and his first injury since 2,5 years.

LB, Flick definitely trusts Martin, so in my opinion there isn't any need to do something. Balde keeps improving, Martin showed he can play the most important games. Yes, he makes mistakes, but he's from La-Masia, earns minimum wage, won't ever be toxic for not having too many minutes and his ceiling is not reached yet, he might surprise us next season after having earned much experience in the latest games.

CB depends also on Flick and on how much he trusts Araujo. We surely can't hope for Martinez to perform another season like this, he isn't getting any younger and is usually injury prone. Cubarsi will need his pauses too, as he was clearly overplayed in the end of the season. If Christensen leaves the club, then we need a new CB even if Araujo stays.
Garcia and Christensen can help here as well, but a new CB must suit Flick's system and who you can start in big games without stomach ache.

Balde/Martin Martinez/Araujo or new CB Cubarsi/Christensen/Garcia Kounde/Fort or new RB

In the goal, it'll depend if Szczeny will extend for another year or not. MAtS is first captain and will definitely be a starter next season, where most people here like it or not. If only just for the reason to see how he'll do with Flick's system. If Szczeny will leave the club, Deco should definitely get a keeper with high potential to take over from MAtS in around 2 years. Pena should leave the club regardless.

MAtS / Szczesny or a new keeper

That makes 24-25 players.

In summary go big on LW, rest depends on Flick, Christensen, Araujo and Szczesny. Keep saving big money for 2026 summer, where we'll need a 100m+ striker.

I agree with the priority of the left winger. Raphinha and Yamal were fit for most of the season. It was only during the dark times at the end of 2024 that we realised we needed a skilled backup winger who can (ideally) play on both sides. That's when we almost bottled la liga.

For any targets that the club make, I hope the club looks into La Masia first before diving into the transfer market.

1. Back up Left Winger - I would like to see Dani Rodriguez in the LW rather than the RW that he played vs Valladolid. If not him, then Rashford on a loan is a viable option.
2. Starting GK - MATS should piss off
3. Back up LB - Hope the club looks for a back up LB better than Martin.

Yeah, I wouldn't plan with Dani Rodriguez in any capacity... I don't want to be too harsh though, maybe he will win his spot in preseason, but he looked hopeless in his debut.

I will die on the striker + GK hill. Only thing that makes me slightly doubt is Ferrans form. He looked surprisingly good recently. But over a whole season as our starter? No clue.
