Sergio Busquets

He single handedly controlled the midfield today, reminded me of the busquets of 2011. Nearly flawless match except his mistake which lead to aduritz's goal :p

He was good but again couldn't do without screwing up. Hope this is a sign of an upward trend for Busquets.

One of his best in a while games but still had one or two of his fuck ups. Was far too weak in the challenge for their second goal. Still a good game though.

Just noticed something. Before the assist to Pedro and before he received the magic ball from Messi, Busquets had been FLATTENED and slowly got up to make that run.

He opened up the play for the 2nd goal with a left-footed long ball to Neymar from defensive third of the pitch (it was some dead ball situation and he had one touch reaction), front 3 got so much space to use with that proactive pass and only 4 Bilbao players. If this was an old game-setup he'd go for a slow short pass build-up and Bilbao would have all the time in the world to regroup in numbers at the back.

Mou, res!
Props to him for seeing the space in front of him and able to read Messi's vision which leads to the 5th goal
