On top of a very average performance his dumb red card nearly cost us a point if not for Ter Stegen. He was shit.
if you are going to pressure the ref, an emaciated build might have a lesser chance for a yellow card or worse.
I think football fans these days tend to underestimate the importance of having an influential leader on the pitch. A presence that commands respect from both the opponent and the authorities. Such a figure is usually of two types: the toughies (Keane, Vidic, Puyol etc) and the charistmatic ones (Totti, Raul etc). In most cases, their aura alone influence decisions in their team's favor. Busquets doesn't fit into either type. It doesn't even look like he has the negotiation skills of Xavi or Iniesta. His impact on the pitch is slowly waning in pure football terms and has none in psychological terms. His captaincy epitomizes the state of mediocrity of this team. When you have 4 mentally weak players in the leadership role, then its no surprise that the team finds itself in the doldrums.

So what did he show in his 95 minutes? Whilst FDJ changed the game in 20?
Mediocrity is not acceptable and that's what he's giving every single game. If you can't actually describe things he did well without having to really think then he probably didn't play well.
1) no one "changed" the game, the game ended as a draw, which is what it was when all subs were made.
2) if we want to make an argument that a sub "changed" the game, one could make a argument it was fati as much as or more than anyone else.
3) having an average game is totally different from being shit, de jong gives us average games on a almost weekly basis, but his fans or more likey busquets haters make it out that is average games are WC, IF this or that.
When the man has an okay game just say he was okay/average it won't kill anyone, it say it was shit, doesn't make any sense what so ever.
Only player on the field that had a truly shit game or came close to it, was raphinha.
FDJ had one of his better nights
FDJ came on and made a few errors that nobody cares about plus it is easier to play against opponents that have been running for 60 minutes
Shit take. Say it as it is, Busquets is slowing our play down and has been below par for what Barca wants to achieve. FDJ is miles better than him these days.
His passing especially the long passes were great throughout
I have said it many times.. this is the only place online where so called fans slag off Busquets and other Barca legends
It is surprising how much noise two or three people can make .

The truth is none of our guys played really and they probably played better football than we did though we are still getting used to our new players

He was alright yesterday but he looked worse on the ball than he normally does but that might be due to Xavi's turd tactics. Misplaced long balls and stuff.
