Yeah man i wanted a loss so players wont waste energy with celebrating the win, this is a friendly cup, the real deal starts in a few days. CR7 scored 2 goals so today is so far a good day 💪🔥
You're right Fati. Better save up that energy for the friday night blockbuster against almighty Al Taawon. There will certainly be 1 or 2 more penaldos waiting for Ronnie.

Who cares about trophies when you can just wait for the next penaldo and SIU again :crbust:

We all know he's been a great player, but surely it is time to retire? After the World Cup, certainly? The guy will be 41 in February so summer 2026 is the perfect time to give it up. Why is he scared of leaving the game?

He has enough money for 10 lifetimes, a wife and children (not sure on the cheating allegations) and can get into the game as a director or something if he misses it (I don't think he will ever have coaching ability).

Why is he so welded to being a player? He's terrified of retirement and it's sad.

He won't retire until Messi retires.

His goal is to retire with Messi at the same time.

Because Messi lives rent free in his head.

Why can't he just accept he's been an excellent player, but someone else was more exceptional?

It takes a true narcissist to not be able to accept not being the best at something. To grapple with that for almost two decades. I could understand it if he had a point and Messi was overrated, but if anything Ronaldo is seen as closer to Messi than he truly deserves to be. Yet somehow feels victimised.

Staggering levels of delusion and psychopathy.
