Because ageing players can't cope in PL generally. It's a very young to prime league and physically demanding.

In slow, technical leagues like La Liga and Serie A these players can perform for much longer.

They would most likely sell Gnabry anyway in that case because 4 wingers on like 18-20M/year each would be a bit ridiculous.
