Yamal is the best dribbler itw statistically by a large distance. You can't compare today's rigid marking and defensive structures to the more chaotic 2000s organization-wise.

Also Dinho said back then it was harder to play his style in current football than then (though he was probably just humble).

Player like Dinho would shine in any era of football but he is never a high end product type of player (no more than Yamal). And his rep could be different nowadays.

There are certain players good at free kicks but it's true we don't see nearly as many free kick goals. Actually don't know when was the last time I watched Aa game where it was scored. Mbappe in CDR final probably, and that was a pretty shit one.
