Anderson got badly injured, breaking his leg in his last season at Porto and was never the same player. It was a mistake to go ahead with that deal.

From what I can tell Sanches will be 40 million euros with the other 20 million made up of performance-related bonuses. That doesn't seem too bad. But as usual everyone is obsessed with Man Utd and the press will immediately be desperate to label him a flop like they wanted to do with Martial this season, Shaw the year before etc.
