He had Matip (one of the most underrated CBs of this generation) and Konate (when he was good) constantly covering for him.

yeah Barça was much better option for him, but we probably can't afford his wages
In our backline everybody sucks at defending already so he would fit in perfectly. Going forward he would be unstoppable with Yamal
Not that we should rule it out though. I don't think he is in any way attached to Madrid or anything at the moment lol, he is a glory hunter that's why he left Pool in the first place. If he sees Madrid are wank and Barca are doing better we could maybe even get him

City have took the upper hand in negotations for Vinicius. They are willing to pay that ilusive 3 digit lump sum I've been wanking for.
They want to get 2 dudes : Nico Williams, which would be biggest waste of money ever, and Enzo Fernandez, who's a decent player.
I wouldn't bother about Vitinha, there are some rumours, but no way he's coming.
As for the game today, looks like a 4-3-3 with Arda and Mastantuono in the XI. Camavinga will be benched and Bellingham really needs to step it up.

Monaco is 9th in Ligue 1 and having one of their worst seasons in a while since they sacked Hutter. Playing dreadful football
Yet in first half they more than held their own. Had 3 clear cut chances
Goals were mostly individual quality too
If it was a functional team on the other side Madrid would probably draw/lose with how they approached this game
But maybe this is good, if they actually decide to trust Arbeloa. This guy is not winning them shit. Although they have the individual quality to make up for shit system

Arbeloa told Trent he isn't in his plans and there's a decent decent chance he's played his last game for the club. Which would severely diminish his odds at featuring for England in the World Cup.
Arsenal and Chelski are in the race for the summer transfer of Arda Guler for a 3 digit lump sum. Real doesn't want to hear about it but if the offer were too tempting who knows?
There are still Ruben Neves rumours, but I think that wont materialize, he's just not good enough. Please dont sign.
