Real Madrid

No way, and then do what?

Think they might be ok with this as a transition period without trophies. Can't imagine they expect a coach like Arbeloa to miraculously lead this team to titles short term.

Nooo Perez will never allow a transition season, otherwise he could have kept Xabi who has proved much much more than Arbeloa. League and CL are still open, Perez probably expects atleast a close ll title run and a semi final in CL so Arbeloa can continue his work next season.

Well, Barca is top 5 club ever.

Real Madrid is real madrid, others are just clubs.

But Barca from 2006 to 2015 won more than 99 percent of teams win in their history.

They are just more ruthless with their icons, thats mostly all there is to it.
Top 5?

Pipe down and take your meds.

Between the trophy cabinet, the peak level, and the queue of icons that have played here, Barca clears everyone and is a complement to the state supported plastic club RM (who of course has the biggest trophy cabinet).

Okay game, Bellingham not playing good. Asencio probably man of match. Just sell Vinicius for lump sum of 3 digits.

Sociedad on Anoeta always been tough for Barcelona historically, they have to win now.

News from the White kingdom :

Looks like Vini is being sold to Chelski in summer for a whopping 150 million euros. Dude wants same money as Mbappe and he hasn't nearly been at that level so contract talks stalled. Also, Real wants to buy Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea for around 100 million.

No Rudiger, Mendy, Trent, Brahim and Militao vs Monaco. I think gonna end in a low scoring draw.

Vini should go to Inter. They will find a way to fit him in

Would probably destroy Serie A and also regular CL football, what more to ask for

In EPL, he may get cooked

I believe Barca fans hate Real way too much. And vice versa.

Anyway, for Monaco game VIP ticket is 390 euros, season ticket holders, uefa affected members etc get 30% discount. This post adds nothing to the thread though, it's not like anyone here will go even for 50 bucks

and I just hate the fact it's called " el Bernabeu". Santiago Bernabeu stadium was just so much cooler imo.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois; Valverde, Asencio, Huijsen, Fran García; Tchouaméni, Bellingham, Güler; Mastantuono, Mbappé and Vinicius.

Would be nice to see Guler and Mastantuono from beginning.

Don't follow Madrid much. What do their fans think of Trent? Hasn't contributed anything so far.
Reading in their German forum, they think their game plan doesn't suit his strengths. Without a 9, his crossing skills are mostly wasted. And he doesn't engage in defensive duels.

That's a very weak point by the German forum members.

Under Klopp we never had a proper 9. Bobby famously played false 9. After Bobby declined, Klopp played a winger Mane in the middle and Trent had no problems (we were 2 games away from winning the quadruple that season).

Trent was excellent under Klopp without a traditional 9.

Just what I picked up going through some comments, wouldn't overrate it. The important part of the season is soon starting and the performance in these games always overrides what happened before. But first he needs to get fit of course.

I also read a few comments about him beeing a pressing player and he is not good if he has to sit back because he needs the pressure up front to hide his weaknesses.
