Valverde and Courtois both injured for 14 days, what a coincidence. Why can't our club openly and intelligently mock the int. break like them. Just sub Lamine 5 minutes before the end and tell mf Fuente, that he's injured for 2 weeks. How difficult can that be.

While Lamine Yamal's absence from the national team has generated lots of noise and controversy, there's complete silence on the 'injured' Real Madrid players Dean Huijsen, Thibaut Courtois, Fede Valverde, Kylian Mbappé, Eduardo Camavinga, Franco Mastantuono, of whom curiously none of them is ruled out for the next La Liga game. In addition, while it's true that Vinícius Jr., Éder Militão and Rodrygo have been called up by Brazil, they are being managed with prudence by Carlo Ancelotti.

Spanish hypocrisy at it again.

As confirmed by the RFEF (Royal Spanish Football Federation), Dean Huijsen has been withdrawn from the Spanish national team and is returning to Madrid due to the muscle discomfort that prevented him from playing against Georgia on Saturday. Therefore, the Real Madrid center-back will also miss Tuesday's match against Turkey at La Cartuja.

The RFEF issued a statement on the matter, which concludes with a very clear message that De la Fuente has been repeating throughout these days: "As is customary, and prioritizing the health and well-being of the player at all times, the Royal Spanish Football Federation has made the decision to release the player."

Sounds like mockery at this point, when a month ago he forced Lamine to play with painkillers. First time I'm going to hope Spain sucks next summer, so this piece of shit will get the boot.

Doesn't matter really, will probably be replaced by an even bigger idiot.

So Madrid are voting on the 24th (iirc) for the sale of a 10% stake of the club.

If the accounts were as rosy as the cooking of the books show they are, this wouldn't even need to be done. Make no mistake.

A move like this in 2021 would save us years of financial crisis, lever, FFP, poor squads... We'll copy what Perez does anyway in a couple of years, wouldn't it be better to do it when the crisis started?

The real question is how is a team so desperate for money that they will consider selling part of their club for the first time in their history, is able to have the highest net spend in Europe outside of the EPL and PSG, under Tebas' strict FFP Rules ?

Either Madrid have cooked their books, or those books were looked at by Tebas differently to everyone else's book.

Example number 5,738 that all their ' achievements ' should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Perfect example of a fallacy.

Probably because RM is not desperate for money. And probably because RM net spend in last decade + is hilariously low, especially given Madrids revenues.

German Real forum speculates, that it would give Perez some tools to appoint a successor, instead of relying on a election. Perez leads Madrid like a dictator and made challenging his presidency nearly impossible for anyone. So it wouldn't surprise me, if it's some move to strengthen his rule, by appointing a puppet as CEO he can control after his official time. A bit like Bayern with appointing Hainer as president and everybody knows he calls Hoeneß on any bigger decision to ask his permission.

Could also be a simple cash injection to be able to compete with the sheikh clubs in the short term for the rest of Perez remaining days as president.
