@Horatio Couldn't find the player's thread and didn't know where else to post this.

Former Real Madrid and Everton winger Royston Drenthe is in hospital after suffering a stroke.

The 38-year-old ex-Netherlands international was admitted to hospital on Friday.

The news was announced by FC de Rebellen, an agency which represents former footballers including Drenthe.

Get well soon, legend.
Messi dribbled him like a kid back then.

@FinBarcelonafan (as you reacted to my post) and @Messi983

I stopped drinking coke zero months ago (though I do still like pepsi max here and there, which doesn't seem as bad). I heard an anecdote of two guys in their 30s having strokes after drinking pints of coke zero most days.

There really is a lot of stuff in food and drink that is a danger to our health. All this processed and sugary junk food is why there is so much obesity, heart attacks etc now. Not saying anything new, just saying.

These reports could very well be true. And if so Xabi is at risk. Especially if he keeps losing big games, players will look to get him out as soon as possible

Even El Clasico against a severely weakened Barca he could have drew/lost

Especially interesting "they won a lot without this shit so they don't think it's necessary". Bet they miss Carlo so much lol, but no such managers anymore, now in every top club press or fuck off

Nah. They got their ass handed to them last season by Barca. I don't believe this one bit, because winning is fun.

But yes of course, if they start losing games somehow(ain't happening in Tebas league), but maybe CL.
