That`s probably it from RM. It`s substantial improvement, but still lacking another CB and tempo making CM. Next probably selling Rodrygo to balance the books. While next season i expect Vini leaving.

The discussion in @bismp's excellent thread ranking teams of the 21st century got me thinking. And this question has probably been asked long before I became a poster here.

I made a mention that Modric and Kroos were upgrades on Xabi Alonso. I rate Alonso as a world-class player in his time, but Modric and (to a lesser extent) Kroos as all-time great midfielders; a level above.

I don't think this will be a controversial opinion, but does anyone disagree? Anyone think Alonso was as good as them?

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: The Public Prosecutor is seeking 2.5 years in prison for Real Madrid player Raúl Asencio, and 4.5 years for three of his former teammates. According to the report, the three players had consensual sexual relations with two girls in a private hotel room in the Canary Islands, but the acts were recorded and shared without consent. Asencio did not participate, but requested and showed the video to a friend before deleting it. The prosecution argues this also warrants criminal charges. [

As if Spain would actually imprison a Madrid player. And imagine how the Madrid media would behave if it was Yamal. They would run special news for a week without a break.

Has something changed in meanwhile, other than his status as starting player? Have they found something new, or are making conclusions just now?

Perez was like now, we have Huijsen and this guy you know sucks a little, you can do whatever you want now
