Rudiger, Militao and Alaba are all physically finished and so far the only "defender" Madrid has seriously approached is Trent. Basically the only reliable defender they have is Asencio and he also needs some developement before he can carry a whole defense on his own.

Huge reinforcemnts in defense are necessary but they don't seem to acknowledge it at all. Other than Trent also new LB and at least 2-3 more CBs.

I can’t shake the feeling that these bums are going to sneak the league with how badly we’re coming down with injuries and fatigue.

They are similar though.

Their first choice RB/LB and x3 CBs are all out.

If they are then forced to play Valverde RB and Tchou CB who is their midfield? Ceballos and Modric or Bellingham but then take him away from best position.

Real still got match winners but plenty problems of their own.

Can only see losing to them if absolutely knackerd after Inter away but do have from Tues until the Sunday.

Vini v Garcia could be a scary prospect though... could be back to RB Araujo that day.

The combo of CWC and nations league is gonna be such a disaster lol.

And then WC next summer.

These players are getting run into the ground.

A lot of injuries incoming. I am glad Barca is not part of the CWC. Waste of time. Even though it would bring a lot of money I think our team has a lot of wear and tear from this season. Better to rest

All the bad things that hit us recently, have hit them 10x. Fatigue, they are dead. Injuries their entire starting defense is injured.

CWC will take its toll next season, but I don't think it will have 10x the effect of how Barto's presidency ran Barca into the ground.

Madrid's impeccable salary cap allows them to buy 1-2 players for 80-100m this summer. Trent-Arnold is one for sure as free agent, just like Mbappe last year.

Florentino Perez is making the same mistake of early 00s when he filled the squad with big egos.
