Bernal played a few games and showed nothing exceptional.
I don't agree with you but...

Performing without any blunders, pressure or confusion for Barca first team at 17 is already exceptional, so no need to go further

If he recovers well from his ACL he can make a top midfielder

Xabi Alonso: "When people watch us on TV, I want them to say "WOW, they play so well."

We might finally see attractive football in Madrid, which would make hatewatching slightly more enjoyable if anything
Real Madrid presented Carlo Ancelotti as the club’s new coach on Wednesday afternoon, with the Italian speaking to the media about his return to the Spanish capital. He discussed a number of topics, but first spoke in general terms about his thoughts at returning to Los Blancos.

He said: “I promise the same as I did last time, which is to play good football. We want to play a more intense, more aggressive and more organised football. I think football has changed in the past few years. I’m not the same either.

Promise is easy, doing it more difficult. Let's see. Managing Leverkusen is a different topic than managing a club with huge pressure to win titles. Ten Hag, Amorim lately for example learned it the hard way. I don't say he won't be successful, but Leverkusen experience won't help him much in Madrid.

He also spoke of constant adaptation which likely means they won't even try playing nice football against Flick

Likely just park the bus and go on counters. Ancelotti tried it in Supercopa and it went horribly wrong but to be fair next year they have better defense
