Rafael Leão

Him and Mendes on the same side could be a cheat code.

But only one of them is a serious player.

Facts, you could see how worried yamal and mingueza got once he came on and they have to think about those two.

But Leao is too unserious to be a top top player.

but why dude? he has everything what you need to be a top top LW but struggles to make the final pass
Because he's dumb on the park. A moron. You need more than just pace and beating a man to be good winger.

Lots of ability but cannot make the right decisions/choices. I have talked about him earlier in the thread.

He's a better Doku.

I tend to agree with Monte Culer mostly on football, but unlike him I am not a fan of this guy.

He is kind of a trap yes.

His output isn’t the worst. It’s comparable or better than most other wingers in the world.

It’s his inconsistency in his effort that is the issue.

His Attitude is the worse part of his package. Rest is all good, but the attitude he brings seems to be disinterested in football. Dont think Flick can do magic with it.
And yes, I feel his Attitude is far worse than Rashford's. Atleast Rashford shows humger sometimes, and him wanting to come here at any cost shows that.

It was always a no from me for Leao, but glad the world is now understanding why. Maybe if he costs 40-50m, but anything above would rather play Masia kids.

Well he is world class dribbler, and that pros outshines cons.

He will make 6-7 successful dribbles and create great chances, where maybe he will make bad pass, but for sure something can happen.

If you are going to spend a lot of money on a winger then spend it on the most talented one, as long as you believe the motivation/commitment issues are fixable, which I think can be the case at a team like ours.

As for all the talk about output then I did list the output for a few wingers a while back. Cannot remember which thread it was in again though

Found it:

Last three years incl. this one, club stats only.

Rashford: 140 games, 49 goals and 27 assists.

Leao: 145 games, 43 goals and 42 assists.

Kvaratskhelia: 131 games, 36 goals and 35 assists.

Luis Diaz: 121 games, 35 goals and 18 assists.

Nico Williams: 124 games, 28 goals and 29 assists.

Concidering all and being free for season loan Rashford seems like good option.

But even though Leao is crazy I would take him.

His presence would look 2 players on him, and leave more space for Yamal and Rapinha.
