City getting Semenyo... wtf man. Life is so easy when you are oil club. They have 2 sets of elite forwards

Guess this means it's over for Marmoush (or someone else?)

They won't be in the CL spots for sure.

Two remarks:
1) Top acquisition for City. But I wonder what's their squad planning with wingers. They already have Doku, Savinho, Marmoush, Cherki plays RW, Foden or Bernardo also play there sometimes.
Doku is unbenchable, I guess all the rest and one of Cherki/Foden will see a lot of bench going forward

2) Journos say he opted for City over Liverpool. That's interesting, given that Arsenal and Liverpool have dominated 1st preference spot the last 3-4 years. City took some emphatic Ls on that front with Rice, and Belligham snubbing them. Recently, they have been buying either players no other top club wanted - hence had 0 competition to sign (like Donarruma, Reijnders, or Marmoush), or people that seemed not cut for the elite (like Cherki, or Nico, or Al-nouri, etc.)

Don't be naive, who cares about net spend anymore? City and Red Bull have a dozen clubs each in their network creating artificial balances. Not to mention, that all billionaires shake hands with each other, moving and laundering money around like candy. We stopped playing by the same rules when football clubs were allowed to be reduced to toys, stages and propaganda tools.

They're 5th in Premier League gross spend over the last 5 years.

Last year City was top 3 in Europe and first in EPL in their salary cap. Which is the actual spending if we are being honest here.

We will see in few weeks if other teams beat them this year, possible with the amount spent by tge likes of Liverpool and Arsenal.

If we're doing salary spend then Barca are above every English club bar City, with Madrid miles ahead of everyone. Someone's PL narrative is getting upset one way or another.

Hamorim announcing he needs to change system after a year of drudgery can't make this shit up. Few months ago said even the pope couldn't make him change the system.

Hope Castle destroy them so he finally gets fired.
