Who cares about the current form? PSG was nearly out in the CL group stage first half of the season. Muppets never learn to not make predictions on first half of the season form.

We had a relatively easy draw last season in CL KOs.

And still shipped 7 goals to a meh Inter side (yes scored 6 and outplayed them thoroughly but ultimately you can't ship 7 goals in CL semis and expect to be in final).

Fact is, last elite team we beat in CL KOs was in 2017 (6-1 vs PSG). If you really want to push it, you could claim Chelsea in 17-18. But that's about it.

In the end it is 7 very bad days for Slot, and that's it.

Admittedly they haven't really looked great before that, but still.

International break now, and a few weeks to sort shit out.

I personally don't think our soft underbelly in the CL is fully sorted just yet. There just aren't teams around of that caliber to do that to us these days....full strength PSG v full strength Flick's Barca ends 5-2 or something for PSG.

Yeah, no doubt, but our issue is vs elite teams. The one elite team atm is PSG. The rest all have issues, like us.

Liverpool look weaker. Arsenal look the same. Don't see the big improvement tbh.

Still fair amount of time to the business end of the season, but just in terms of squads on paper. PSG, Chelsea, Bayern, Real Madrid, City, Liverpool and Arsenal all have deeper squads than Barca.

Some haven't fully clicked yet i.e. Liverpool, City and even Real Madrid but like I said, still long way to go before business end.

I am sorry for saying he is afraid. Whenever you put your ass in the play, that's a brave man right there.

People shouldn't write us off though.

Last season, PSG were looking crap in the group stages.

Our system is a complete mess and Isak is still working his way towards match fitness.

Our season depends on Isak getting back to his real level. Salah is finished.

It was Konate's man. He had to step out. Watch the actual replay. Look at the angle this picture was taken from.

The fact that people are so desperate to nitpick and blame VVD for everything tells you how great he is.

Been our best player this season. No CB comes close.

Totally true. It's not clicking at the moment, but too much potential to be playing like this. Liverpool can only improve.
