No problems, mate. I've seen fixtures are out but didn't really think about making a new thread.
Some good games on paper at the start of the season.

An an ABU I normally look for United's games first. They have a tough start. On paper a more gentle December and run in. But then, no game is easy for them given how poor they are.

United will do well this season I think, mostly due to no Europe. Could see them sneaking in the top 5 actually.

I like you as a poster (as you know) so if you think this it gives me food for thought (especially as I know you hate them almost as much as I do).

I hope you are wrong (and I know you do too), but we'll see. You might be right. It could be another disaster of a season for them or they could improve.

What makes you hate them so much btw?

I had to grow up with my father and uncle trying to brainwash me into supporting them, they even got me that black away kit with CR7 on the back :rofl1:

Hahaah that would do it, the brainwashing thing, especially with that Portuguese rat. I don't have any such stories - nobody I knew as a kid supported them. I have good friends now who like the club, but as a kid all the adults supported Rangers or Celtic.

Hence, I don't know why I hate them so much lol. It's not because they won a lot because I'd hate Barca too if that was the case as Barca are a more successful club than them. I also don't like Liverpool or Real, but I hate them less than United, and they too have won more than them. So that gets rid of the 'envious of our success' bollocks their dumb fans always throw out.

I just always thought they were the cuntiest of cunts. It could be because I never took to their style of football. But ever since I got old enough to follow club football I didn't like them. Maybe I just sensed the air of arrogance that emanates from anyone associated with that club; the stench that permeates the air.

Reading more into them, finding so much more about them and increasing my knowledge base about them over the years now justifies my hatred. But as for that initial hatred? I don't know. I just knew I hated them when I was a preteen, the same way I just knew I wanted to stick my kid cock in Michelle Pfeiffer. There was no rhyme or reason to it in my child brain.

I must have good instincts though, lol.

Judging by the transfer window so far and the moves expected to be completed soon (like Isak to Liverpool), it seems that the gap will be widening between Pool Arsenal on the one hand, and City on the other

- Arsenal, under the radar, had a stellar window: added Gyokerez, Zubimendi, Madueke, will add Eze the next days (also Mosquea, Norgard, and Kepa for depth)

- Liverpool, probably one of the best windows ever: Isak, Wirz, Ekitike, Frimpong, Kerkez, and will prob add Guehi and a new winger like Fofana

- City, on the contrary, since last winter added only 2 players that can become or are already WC: Reijnders and Marmoush, and too many that look like a tier or two below: Cherki, Ait-Nouri, Nico Gonzales, Kushanov, Reis

If you look how much WC quality they either lost the last 2-3 years (Kevin dB, Alvarez, Mahrez), or are getting older (Bernardo, Gundo, Kovasic), next season doesn't look good for them

Logically after Liverpool's window there is an opportunity for clubs to low ball them. Financially I'm not sure how desperate they are to sell but having a squad that size will never work so Liverpool should logically accept any bid as window nears the end.

Idk how much they want for for example Darwin but would they turn down a low ball offer of 15-20m at the end of August?

I read 30-40m for Darwin to Napoli.

So that's a huge loss whatever way you look on it.

Darwin is also on the old pauper sweat shop wage structure so will push for a renewal or move. Just like Diaz, Salah and Dick is and has.

Here is a better question.

If no one is willing to pay their price for Darwin whose strongest link was to Napoli who by the way have dropped out for now, would Liverpool consider a loan where they pay half or a significant part of his salary?

Or do they keep him and risk him kicking up a fuss in a World Cup year?

I think they would, with a loan fee included and buy option.
