Pep is adapting to missing out on Pedri, Vitinha, Frenkie and Neves. And having to go out with his pauper budget and buying less technical players like Reijdners and Nico.

Poor guy and poor Rodei.

The only way you can think Madueke is good is if you don't watch football . City is giving Arsenal the ball and tilting to Madueke's side. They're not concerned with his end product.
talking about the previous games. I don't rate him in general, but he was good in those.

More of a "fundamental " game than basic, IMO. Which is fine, some all timers like Ancelotti and SAF were like that.

I am not sure of he is adapting to physicality or to his own midfield, which is probably the worst for Pep's ball during his career.

Other than Rodri, his midfield and fullbacks are more suited to this. Hell, Rodri was a big player for Villarreal & Atletico who never played possession football,he himself is suited for this.
good post, agree

Pep just subbed Haaland. 5-5-0. Jose would be proud.
Scotland played that under Harry Potter (Craig Levein) once against the Czech Republic. It was awful. Mad thing is before the game the charlatan had convinced the media and some of the fans it was gonna be revolutionary

Edit: actually, it was 4-6-0
