Liverpool's defence looked crap in these pre-season matches. They may have a great offense but with this defending they won't be dangerous this season.

Not really a surprise. Konate is average. Frimpong is almost as bad as Trent defensively. Kerkez is much better going forward than defending. And on top of that they don't have a ball winning number 6 in the squad other than Endo, who doesn't get a game.

No, no we won't.

You won't be able to keep both Isak and Ekitike happy in the same team for long. If in the future Barca or some other big club came in for the latter to be their main man upfront, dont be surprised if he starts to push for a move like Isak is doing with Newcastle. It may not be to the same degree (or rather not as unprofessional) but he will want out.

They never learn. We are just completing CN and one call away before Isak would beg to come to Barca just like everyone we wanted from Liverpool did. But yeah, this isn't a good look, hope we learned something from Dembouz and Coutinho.

I agree that we don't need Isak. But if we do sign him then I still expect Ekitike to play plenty or minutes. He can play off the left so he could easily be in the same team as Isak.

Spending that money on Isak on top of what we have already spent this summer means it will just be seen by some as a huge failure if we don't walk the Premier League.
