Villa should be Massive favors for the EL, the owners will definitely prefer the CL money.

But winning the EL is the 3rd best trophy any team can win in Europe, after League & CL obviously.

We did fine, got to the semi finals with a squad that mostly played in Championship.

The problem is PSR means we can’t ever really kick on. We are wheeling and dealing every summer so most of the core remains.

Likes of Matty Cash making huge errors such as today and other big games. But we will be stuck with him next year.

Emery truly has done wonders with what he has when a lot of fans were questioning if half the squad was actually PL level when he joined.

Considering the strenght of 4th - 10th teams in EPL they will often have 5-6 teams in CL.

Spain need to increase the level of the lower sides in Europe. Barca, Madrid, AM are not enough.

That being said, El Clasico will be the game to watch for several years again like in 2010s.
