Confirms my observation as well.
Since Arteta left and Lilo became his assistant, Pep has shifted a lot into more cautious approaches, which are also evident in the change of formation to 4-2-3-1.
Maybe he thinks that's the code to crack the CL puzzle, but it might cost him points in the league (draws instead of wins vs mid-table teams)
Time will tell.

It will definitely be with the CL in mind due to way have been eliminated in past.

Not sure can claim would cost them league when have 'only' won 2 of 4 playing other way.

City next five fixtures in league couldnt be better to start to really push at top of table.

Lol, just saw the goals. Chelsea are shooting themselves in the foot like a team of fishermen from the Faroe Islands.

Dias and Stones have forged a decent partnership for City in last couple months.

Dias looks good so far and more of the leader they were lacking.

Laporte cant be too happy but cant complain either.

Villarato!
Don’t know. Probably not seeing as Perez is at the stage of ‘any league no matter how shit is ok provided we’re in COVID, finishing off the stadium and want Mbappe or Haaland or both and we can sign Alaba to keep coasting if need be’.
