Kinda surprised by this, as Spurs usually find a way to bottle it away vs United, regardless how they play.
Expected a United win, despite them being shit.

People are sleeping on Spurs because of the Liverpool vs City chatter. Once they get into gear, they'll be a tough fixture for anyone. Especially once they actually make the move to the new stadium mid-season.

Not underestimating them, just pointing out their history of bottling certain type of matches, not today, i guess.

Steady improvement. Every season they've changed something for the positive. Last year they played very convincingly in the CL. They're slow learners, but this seems like the year they put it all together and actually stick some silverware in their cabinet. Even if it's a small trophy. They just need to get into gear, even if by grinding out results while playing poorly.

It's do or die for Spurs in terms of silverware. Liverpool too, to a lesser extent.

Not really, if Poch gets another top 4 by playing decent football and gets to a CL quarter final, his job wont be in any kind of danger, even though there are some expectations to winning trophies now.

It's not only about Poch. He's got legacy with the club, his job is not in danger. It's more about their generation imo. Will be hard to keep 'em all if they end up trophyless yet again.

True, they somehow kept them all this summer, another trophyless season could make it very difficult to keep them.
