Really difficult question. Pedri is more consistent than Yamal and plays nearly every game on worldclass level. I think our midfield would be fucked up without him. Yamal's individual brilliance is top level too and he can win games on his own but because of more consistency i voted for Pedri.

It's also harder for a winger to be so consistent than for a midfielder. Midfielder knows exactly what to do and even though his game also often demands inventiveness, Yamal's game is all about finding a way to get past his opponent. And every time he does it he has to find a new way, especially against top opposition. You fail 2,3 times and already it's considered a subpar performance.

Ex-barca president Gaspart thinks Pedri is better than Yamal :D

And as alluded to above, one such response provided by Gaspart has since turned heads across Barcelona and beyond.

This comes after the Catalan revealed his take that:

”Pedri is much better than Lamine.”

Uf difficult statement, i played in my football career as LW (sometimes RW) and imo it was waaay easier than to play midfield because there i had time, wasnt pressed the whole time and had to look only at one side (because of the edge)

I have to say my special power was dribbling so 1vs1 was never a problem for me, i would have struggled much more in midfield :D

This is true but for pro footballers of Barça level I don't think this has any affect on them. Do you really think it matters to Pedri if he has to look at one or two sides? He has mastered that shit by now. It's all about following the same pattern now. And adding a little bit of your own imagination, creativity, inventiveness to it every game, depending on the situation.
