Guys, it says it's mandatory. On Barcelona official site. Look bellow.

And no, it's not Pep Segura's interview. It's a sure thing.

English statement says it's mandatory.

If dude has any spine at all he'll do the right thing and leave us. He's still young, he can revive his career elsewhere. Dude didn't even get called for the NT after years of being a sure fire starter even. Is it in his best interest to rot on our bench for the next 3 years for just a few millions more? He can make even more if he delivers on his talent on some other team.

It makes sense from both sides to part ways.

All reports saying they will buy him before the new season in China.

And some people here still think this is a legitimate business. John 12:37 "But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him"

What the fuck is this board doing? Bought him for 40m, he admitedly played solid season (not 40m solid), but now we loan him back? Why? Cant sell him? So we esentially lost 40m euros.

Hahaha, they(Chinese federation) are not eating this bullshit "loan with mandatory buy" gimmick. They say: If Paulinho plays for your team this year you better pay the 100% tax on the transfer this year.

Guangzhou obviously want the money from the transfer to officially enter the books from the next year or something.

Lucky for QSG, UEFA are a bunch of corrupt fuckers. Seems like the shit they pulled with Mbappe last year wouldn't work in China which says it all really.

UEFA did count Mbappe fee in 2017/18 FFP accounts.

So no different really.

Only his wages count for this financial year. The transfer fee will be amortized beginning with the 2018-2019 financial year.

I mean, why even do the loan + option to buy if this wasn't the case?

Fairly sure UEFA and PSG both agreed the transfer was to be considered from 2017/18 in full for FFP.
