2 year deal, not another 5. 40% wage reduction. To even get to that figure, he needs to stay healthy and perform, since there are a lot of performance based bonuses in there. This isn't nearly as bad as you made it sound like. In any case I think we'll sell him next summer, if Raphinha settles in okay. This extension is a great sporting and financial decision...instead of losing him for free we get to sell him for 50M, if he has a good year and possibly WC.

Dude what? 40% wage cut and a 2 year extension instead of 40M and a 5 year deal he and his agent thought they were gonna get from someone else, is the club falling on its knees? More like him and his agent crawling back to Barcelona and accepting whatever we still had on the table for him.

The only good news on this signing is that he'll be underpressure all the time

FIrst months to prove him and be a part of the NT for the world cup
Then Post World cup, he'll once again have to prove himself to be able to negociate for a better/longer contract or be able to quit the team on good conditio

Not fond of his signing but it was the condition possible in the case where we sign him
