Neymar

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
After going more in depth on the subject , I would be tempted to agree with you.

Dont know if he cares about football though , but his numbers are bad.

I still think Marotta and Zanetti will go out all guns blazing to get him after Atalanta didn't sell Lookman for 45 million.

They basically have 2 great attackers in Thuram and Lautaro on really long contracts and 2 prospects in Bonny and Pio Esposito , who scored his first goal for Italy few days ago.

If covid didn't happen , Lautaro would probably already play for Barca.

Anyway, Neymar needs first team football asap.

I think the way Neymar's health have been no top team takes that gamble.

If you sign Neymar then you don't just run the risk of signing a player that cannot stay healthy, but also one that might not be focused much on football anymore and with an entourage and media attention that could turn into a complete clownshow.

He's not exactly young either. The risk outweighs the potential benefits.

Yes and they wish they didn't make the final

Out to Fluminense at CWC and poor start in Serie A

And all jokes aside Ney probably could contribute . Even if he doesn't shirt sales alone get you some bonus. And ofc his presence, as one of the all time greats, in the dressing room could lift the spirits

If it's true and it definitely is really a dumb choice by Inter not to take him
I don't think they wished they didn't make the final, cause they get more money for being there in the first place.

I wouldn't call it a dumb choice too, cause Neymar's injury record is crazy, like how many games did he even play in Saudi Arabia, and he was getting injured anyhow in the Brazilian league too, before he got stable now. You're definitely taking a massive risk signing him (don't forget he'll want a good salary), so I wouldn't sign him majorly cause of his injury record, Saudi Arabia definitely didn't get a good value for him, and I think they even regret signing him for that massive fee and salary.

Imagine signing someone for 100m in Oct 2023, and he plays a total of 428 minutes before his contract is terminated in Jan 2025. Not even up to 5 full 90 minutes

Bro went all the way to the goal kick just for them to do a long kick lmao

There's a good chance that Santos will be relegated and there's 6 games left - 3 of which are with the top 4 of the league.

The disrespect for one of Brazil's greatest ever players

Should be bowing down to him and appreciating his presence alone. Brazil deserves this downfall

Maybe they will respect Neymar more when they realize they are not getting a player like that in next few decades

Does he even crack their top 10?
Ridiculous question. Yes he does
Brazil have an insane history of players that also achieved big things for their NT which Neymar was unable to do.
Neymar literally had the worst ever Selecao lineups to deal with. The other legends we are talking about: Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho... all played together. Pele with Garrincha. Who Neymar played with? Fucking idiots who can't kick a ball. But he gave everything in every international competition for Brazil

You're out of your mind. Brazil have had world class players in every position in Neymar's generation. Probably better individuals than the Argentina team that won the WC. It's a team sport though. Brazil didn't have their Scaloni.

Pls tell me the names of those world class players so I can laugh

Who are the world class brazilian midfielders in last 10 years? Forwards other than Neymar? The dumbfuck Vinicius who never did anything of note for his country?

Argentina team was shit and it took the greatest ever footballer giving his absolute best for them to win WC. Maybe if you put Messi in Brazil team they would also win. Because Messi is a class above Neymar. But put any of those other Brazilian legends in Neymar's lineups and they won't win anything either

First things first, calm down. 😂

Truly world class players: Alisson, Thiago Silva, Casemiro, Fabinho, Alves, Marcelo, Coutinho, Fernandinho, Vinicius, Raphinha, Firmino, Ederson.

Then there are others like David Luiz, Jesus, Marquinhos, Hulk, Oscar, Ramires, Willian, Miranda, Taison, Rodrygo, Sandro.

And I'm forgetting many others.

This is an amazing generation of players. Amazing. Just because Brazil have had monster squads in the past doesn't mean this generation wasn't talented. You calling them "idiots who can't kick a ball" is embarrassing for you. All these players have won stuff at the highest level and many of them were the best in the world in their positions.
