Neymar Jr.

You are right.
2 days ago we had 1000 different news and combinations.

Today, nothing.

I am afraid that it will be signed soon.
I always had a feeling that this is the bullet which we will never be able to dodge.

Btw who are other candidates for a president in 2021?
I hope that these new guys are taking notes.
A hint for candidates: just say that Barto signed Neymar and you will have an easy win.

Neymar will come.
We will spend 600m.
He won't do shit here.

In a ironical way, Barto, Bordas, Abidal and everyone will lose their job due to a fkng Neymar.

At least something good will happen with Neymar's transfer: it will sack the whole board of idiots.

Karma.
Let it be.

Club rules don't allow Barto to run for another presidency.

Barça and PSG is working to reach an agreement on Neymar. PSG demands more cash, but Barça keeps presenting Dembélé, who will have fewer minutes with Neymar's arrival. [

Club rules don't allow Barto to run for another presidency.

Why is he going all in then?
Are you sure about that?

Rosell was before Barto.
Barto continued when his "father" Rosell ended in a jail.

He will either continue or he will have his "men" as new presidents just how he jumped in instead of Sandro Rosell.
I am sure there a lot of criminals around Barto who are willing to continue his job.
And who think that they will win the elections with this monumental transfer of Neymar

Either way, other candidates should just point fingers to a fact that we had Messi and spent more than any other club in the world, only to win 1 CL in the last 7 years.
1. Messi
2. highest wages in the world
3. the most money spent on transfers
4. 3 the most expensive flops in a football history (Coutinho, Dembele, Neymar)
= NO CL titles

Reports on twitter say that neither Rakitic, Dembele or Todibo want to move to France.
In that case, Barca will have to pay around 200M in cash.

If we will have to pay 200M in cash (which we don't have and for which we will have to make new loans in banks), and if we will keep Raki and Dembele, I am sure that we will break all financial La Liga and FIFA rules.
Let's hope that a new Neymar's transfer will again cost us lawsuits and punishments.

That is the only way to get rid of a board of criminals.
Again the irony:
Criminals will buy a snake to help them. But a snake will kill them again

Mundo Deportivo, Fernando Polo is now reporting:
The French club fails to seduce Rakitic or Dembélé and now proposes to the Barca club another very demanding Ney buying formula.

Yesterday's day of the soap opera Neymar passed in the middle of many rumors, much more smoke than tangible facts and even an alleged exclusive of a well-known Italian journalist giving the signing of Neymar by FC Barcelona and for fact that was quickly denied by the club culé , the PSG and the Brazilian environment.

It was also assured during the day that Josep Maria Bartomeu, Barca president, and Nasser Al Khelaifi, his PSG counterpart, had met in Monaco for more than an hour. The reality is that they were not a minute alone. They were together, but surrounded by many more leaders at a meeting of the UEFA strategic commission. It was also published later that today Bartomeu would take place in Monaco a decisive meeting with Al Khelaifi, this time alone. The news was published while the president landed in Barcelona and, also, with no intention of returning to Monaco.

Yesterday, neither Rakitic nor Dembélé had agreed to go to PSG

Yesterday what happened was that the PSG continued trying to convince the Barca players that Barça added to its last economic offer (about 130 million euros) as likely to enter the operation. That is, to Rakitic, Dembélé (as assigned) and Todibo, the novelty of this last proposal and that advanced MD the previous day. However, the French club did not get away with it. At the close of this edition, MD was able to verify that neither Dembélé nor Rakitic had agreed to move to Paris. As explained by the SER, Todibo's environment also assured yesterday that the player did not want to go to PSG but felt more comfortable in Barça.

As a result of this impossibility to reach an agreement with the three Barça players, the Barcelona proposal was ruled out from the PSG. But then, the French club negotiators decided to make a proposal to Barça. That is, they kept the Neymar case alive because they could have said ‘no’ directly to Barça and liquidate it. Also Thomas Tuchel, coach of the PSG, continued to reserve Ney even though he is physically well.

1. Now it seems that Barto and Nasser didn't speak yesterday at all
2. and for now, there is no new meeting scheduled for today
3. Rakitic and Dembele don't want to go to France, for now
4. but Psg is open to a sale. Which could only end as 200-ish M in cash, which we don't have. And for 80-90m gross wages for Neymar, which we don't have.

Basically, if we sign Neymar, we will sign him for money which we don't have and we will break all La Liga and FIFA's rules.
Awesome.

Why is he going all in then?

Well it makes perfect sense doesn't it? At least for Bartomeu. This is it. This will be his legacy, these are not only his final years but also Messis final years. By 2021 Messi will be 34.

What do you think Barto wants to be remembered as, the guy that tried to keep finances somewhat stable after already fucking up with sky high wages and too expensive transfers (Dembele, Coutinho) or the one that brought in these big name players to build this (on paper) ridiculous strong team for Messis final years, maybe even winning another CL in the process?

If he has short term success with this and Barca doesn't completely collaps in like 3-4 years he's good. I mean there were a lot of scandals and stuff but that is forgotten fast when there is a big season, just look back at the 14/15 season. And Barca won't crash, the new board will talk shit about the old one as always and maybe there will be less money but with Messi getting old and eventually quitting that will be seen as more important anyway.

If anyone doesn't really have to worry about the long term future it's Bartomeu. These next 2 years are his last, even if he could run again i don't think he would win unless he wins big in the meantime so either way it makes sense to go "all in" for Messi instead of building up for post Messi era.

Even without Neymar thats more or less the case though so i wouldn't be too sure he does everything to sign him. Doesn't quite look like it tbh, probably also because he just can't spend too much money even if he would like to do it.

Bc he wants the best team, that’s why.

Why stop on Neymar?
Why not add 200m for De Bruyne, 200 for Van Dijk, 100m for a new RB?
I mean, since we are cheating with money either way.

Also, a hypocrisy.
Imagine if RM has spent:
200m for Neymar
165 for Coutinho
145 for Dembele
120m for Griezz
75m for Frenkie
= in the last 24 months, and having wages 100+m gross for Messi, 80-90m gross for Neymar, 35m for Coutinho, 12m for Dembele and Frenkie.
We would say that Uncle Flo is a cheater and that rules don't apply for them.
Or if Quataris would have done this.
We would make fun out of their oil money and how they are plastic clubs trying to buy a success.

The irony is that in the last 24 Months, we are worse in every sense than RM, PSG and City combined.
The rules don't apply to us.
We have an unlimited amount of money to spend.
We are spending money which we don't have.
We have ridiculously high wages.

Remember this tweet from 2009, the irony:
[tw]2205431286[/tw]
[tw]1128446118180921344[/tw]

And this all was BEFORE 200m for Neymar's fee and his 45M Net (80-90m gross) wages

I mean, guys, be honest.
Imagine if Real or Psg would have done this.
If Psg is P$G, then a current, Barto's Barca should probably be called: Fc Bar$$$elona.

Also, remember the irony with this emoticon: :papaperez::bartomeu:
We have switched sides, haven't we?

Awesome.

Nothing changed since the last meeting we cant pay that much money and the players are rejecting psg especially dembele as it seems. I was very surprised yesterday when those frauds di marzio announced deal done when a acurrent deal is impossible.

I'm not liking the silence on this matter after yesterday's meeting. Might just be that a deal has indeed been struck,
and both parties just agreed to keep quiet until official announcement.
