Nowhere near Neymar before he left is the key observation here. The Neymar we have been seeing at PSG and the 2018 WC is a disaster. We got lucky, even if we did spend the money like a drunken sailor fresh off the docks.

Isn't his physical peak, far ahead of what Dembele and Coutinho will ever accomplish. Notice how Neymar is basically in a lot top 5 stats (dribbles in UCL, chance creation in europe) despite being out for half a season?

Some of you are completely delusional. Yeah, prone to injury in the past two years, but he's still more of an asset than Coutinho and Dembele will ever be. If Dembele could score 30 goals in half a season I wouldnt mind seeing him so injured.
