Lol. Neymar boots in those low height corner deliveries every time he takes it and has been extremely inefficient and unsuccessful at corner deliveries for Barca. Sends in another low corner which Kurzawa somehow manages to convert with a crazy bicycle kick, and everyone raves about Neymar for it .

Yep exactly.

The board are pathetic, but the business between the board and Neymar's group is exemplifies jut how pathetic and trashy both parties are,

They must have changed it for this year because i am sure ligue 1 was 1.5 last year

Yes thats correct, i read somewhere that Zlatan had the chance to get the golden boot when he played there, but because of the multiplier he couldn't, if i remember it right! But Neymar had more luck with the timing!

Huh? Corners are pretty inefficient from everyone, and every club, and every level, no matter the league. Many of you are sounding pretty out there, get it together.

Not saying he should be assisting 50% of his corners, just that he is legitimately a notably poor corner taker. A lot of his attempts fall low and short and don't look anywhere near threatening, it's a very consistent pattern with his deliveries that I noticed for years. No one has an incredible assist ratio from corner kicks but that doesn't mean some players aren't better than others. Kroos is probably (?) the best at it but other set piece specialists like Koke for example have shown a good ability. They are sending in dangerous balls into the heart of the area for their players to attack a majority of the time, whereas that seems to be fairly uncommon for Neymar and yet here he is getting praise for some supposedly genius corner kick technique even though he's not even average at it as far as regular corner takers are concerned and often has a flawed approach.

Sooooo according to you Neymar is not a corner specialist like 99.9 of most football players, ok?

They are not 5th because of Monaco. They are 5th because of PSG.

They were in the 6th position last season. And then Monaco reached the Semi Final enhancing their position in the UEFA coefficient. How did the PSG which became a laughing stock of Europe last year help their league more than Monaco?

They are on 5th. I hate it. They are there because of Monaco.

Sad to see Netherlands, who originated the greatest football in the world, at 11th. Yes, at ELEVENTH!!!

It's all about marketing since early 00's. and European laws of playing max. 3 foreign players being scrapped.
NL are just too small of a country to play a big role in the world. Dutch people don't pay €100 per month to watch soccer on tv, we already complain when it's €10. Besides that nobody outside a few people did follow the national league, and clubs like Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV where lacking to keep their players above 22/23 years of age.
While in the past the clubs could keep them until 26/27 before they left to the big clubs, now so called 'talents' are lured with big contracts at the age of 19-21. No time to build a team anymore for any of these clubs, as the majority of your squad is sold after one good year.

Of course they should be able to play better in Europe (be at least somewhere 8th or 9th), everytime the season starts (half July) you are still getting robbed of your best players in the middle of August. One step to create a better based squad for all teams in Europe is to have the transferdeadline on the date qualifiers of EL/CL start.

He has flaws but we lost top 5 player with maybe the highest potential of all younger ones, as simple as that.

Yes, the exponentially tremendous financial growth of football in recent years has negative consequence to this beautiful game which far outweighs the positive consequence. Football is more and more drifted away from the game and towards the business and as a result we see a self obsessed stat-padder conquering more ballon d'ors than Cruyff. MORE THAN CRUYFF!!! The fourth best player in real madrid have claimed more ballon d'ors than the fourth best player in the history of football. Because in football business the most marketable player is the best player in the world.

The ranking is not based on 1 season, most of the points are because of PSG so they have a bigger role in becoming 5th then Monaco.
