The easy solution is to be ruthless and force ter Stegen out this summer and sign Joan Garcia while renewing Tek for a year.
Won't happen though and he'll probably join some other club this summer as a starter.

Chevalier is good, but he's another short GK, around the same height as ter Stegen of 1.87m.

I just hate short GKs.

Easy solution is to buy one of the best GKs and treat the position as a vital one. Like Liverpool did with Alisson, Madrid did with Courtois and so on. Keeper is not a position to hunt talent in.

That said not all short GKs are bad, but you need to have exceptional reflexes like Keylor Navas to be a great option IMO. Because there's some obvious draw backs being short in that position.

It helps when you are shorter, but have defensive generals like Ramos and Pepe. Whatever gets hit with those two heading beasts guarding opponents you can rely on your reflexes. You simply know no free headers are coming your way with Ramos and Pepe in the box.
