All attack or all defence systems are okay if you don't have the men to try to balance stuff

This wasn't the best lineup Spain could start with. In the end, these games are glorified friendlies, you could see that from everything.

Lucho had a team who could control the game for 90-120min but never score a goal. He completely lacked the efficiency in the team. No real wingers either. Williams and Yamal are next level compared to what he had. Not sure what he could have done really. There was no goal scorer.

Spain surprised in the Euro because rise of Williams and Yamal. Otherwise they would have failed again after controlling the game for long periods.
