Then Bayern's only season at the very top was 2013. In 2012, let's not forget, they were 2nd best in Bundesliga, under Dortmund. They even lost 2-5 in the DFB-Pokal final.

And they almost lost to Arsenal in CL... Peps Bayern ended this year horribly, but let§s not forget, that before that they were without doubt the best playing team in Europe. They played better under Guardiola, than under Heynckes, crushing every competitor, but after they won bundesliga too soon, they surprisingly fell apart.
