Football, as you know very well, can't be directly compared to other common jobs
But, only Rashford at Villa and early Rashford at UTD, are enough of an evidence to debunk your 'laziness' claim.
If he was always lazy, we wouldn't be able to see these versions of him
As I said earlier, he is not a child anymore. He's not 18 like when he started playing for United. He's almost 28 now. He's been there 10 years. A decade. A small fraction of that time, he was a different player, taking on opponents and trying hard. The MAJORITY of his time there, 10 years worth, was him being lazy and disinterested. Talent doesn't matter when you don't try. This is the truth. A few good years at United, most of them not recently, and a few solid months at Villa does not lead to any objective, logical conclusion of him suddenly finding joy in football again and magically start giving a shit here at Barcelona.
I'm not even trying here, I'm literally just pointing out what he's done in his career. If he's been so fucking unhappy at United, and that being an excuse as to why he's been shit, then why has he stayed there for 10 fucking years. Give me a break.
You have some decent takes sometimes, but having faith in Rashford for no apparent reason isn't one of em. He could prove me wrong and turn his career around, but there is no logical reason, given the data we have, to believe that he is likely to do so.
