Marcus Rashford

PRashford is a moments player who's shite in tight spaces. He can't pass and move or play 1-2's and link up with teammates.

His dribbling ability has declined. When he broke through he was not afraid to take players on. Nowadays he actively avoids dribbling and taking players on.

Players like Mbappe and Bellingham who are considered "moments players" by this forum can do that easily.

I guess that's what people do in your world. They suck ass at their job and are lazy, then when they apply to a new one they say oh dont listen to all my bad references...I was just really sad there, not lazy 🥹

He's 28 in October, he's not a kid anymore. I'm not convinced he's a changed man after half a season at Villa, sorry.

Football, as you know very well, can't be directly compared to other common jobs

But, only Rashford at Villa and early Rashford at UTD, are enough of an evidence to debunk your 'laziness' claim.
If he was always lazy, we wouldn't be able to see these versions of him

As I said earlier, he is not a child anymore. He's not 18 like when he started playing for United. He's almost 28 now. He's been there 10 years. A decade. A small fraction of that time, he was a different player, taking on opponents and trying hard. The MAJORITY of his time there, 10 years worth, was him being lazy and disinterested. Talent doesn't matter when you don't try. This is the truth. A few good years at United, most of them not recently, and a few solid months at Villa does not lead to any objective, logical conclusion of him suddenly finding joy in football again and magically start giving a shit here at Barcelona.

I'm not even trying here, I'm literally just pointing out what he's done in his career. If he's been so fucking unhappy at United, and that being an excuse as to why he's been shit, then why has he stayed there for 10 fucking years. Give me a break.

You have some decent takes sometimes, but having faith in Rashford for no apparent reason isn't one of em. He could prove me wrong and turn his career around, but there is no logical reason, given the data we have, to believe that he is likely to do so.

Another factually false claim.
The majority in a 10-yr time is 5+ years. Rashford has been disinterested (and lazy only because of that) the last 2 seasons at UTD. You can very well recall his 22-23 stellar season.

Let alone that the last 6 months at Villa prove my point, rather than your speculation about his 'lazy nature'

It's not only me that has faith in him.
Flick has.
That is enough for all of you doubters to get over with it, and accept it.

Whether he can succeed here or not is 50/50. No one doubts he has some quality on his day but signing him is a huge risk given how he's 'fell off' in recent years.

Pressing and workrate doesn't get you too far in a team like United. No matter how hard you work team is not in Europe and you will keep getting rolled over by the absolute shitload of bums in team lineup

This is not the right mentality to have, of course. A player should work hard for the team regardless of current form and state of the club as long as he's getting paid

But if you set him the platform, surround him with the best players in the best team and tell him he just needs to press - I believe he will do it. Because that's what he wants. Not to work for the sake of it, but to gain glory, fame, achievements...

It's what he is. English media hyped him up since he was a child. He definitely believes he's better than he is and finds himself out of place in relegation battling United. Now despite all of this he still is a footballer who can do something special on his day and in the right environment he can be a useful footballer

It's a low risk signing tbh. I'm sure if Flick gave the ok he talked to him and assured him he will have to work his ass off in order to sniff the pitch. Marcus needs Barca more than Barca needs him. Hence all the media reports of him being obsessed about Barca, this is his ultimate career opportunity.

You're welcome
Put him on 9 problem solved.

As much as I have been a witness to his abomination of a season last year, I am a bit excited if this transfer happens.

I think with right mentality and Flick it could work.

Rashford will also be a nobody in our dressing room. That could push him to work hard.

Also trust Flick to bench his @+] as soon as he acting like a =[*{.

Will be low-risk if on a loan.

For 5th option in attack abd bring versatile is great option concidering he can explode.

If not we don't lose anything.

He can be short fix in attack while we get GK.

Next year we offload him and Lewa

Any potential deal has to be very good for Barca financially. We owe nothing to Rashford at all, even if he only wants Barcelona. He should have thought better before priotizing money over a football career when he extended with that trashcan of a club. Low ambition. If he wanted to be a top player he would have left United long ago.

Paying up good money for Rashford is a stupid stupid thing to do. We don't even know if he's up for it. Might as well be damaged goods after all that time spent at United.

We want him as a cheap option after Ansu leaves, as an upgrade over Ansu who brought basically nothing for the team. He has almost no chance of playing over Raphinha.

My point exactly. We have 3 starters. He gives a different style when subbed in.
Is built heavy and tall. Gives us a different profile.
If loaned, wont cost us much. Can easily start against Minows.
I see all the positives if loaned.

PS. I never understand the symbols you write. What ASCII code is this. lol
