Don't know what the problem is at United, but signing Ronaldo makes absolutely no difference short term. Long term it just delays the team's composition as the tactic is too reliant on him at the moment.

On paper they seem to have a good squad, not title winning but better than having +3 in goal difference after 19 games. Bad mentality? Lack of leaders? I think it has to be psychological.

Reports coming out that the atmosphere of the team is all time low. Half of the players feel bad.

🧐 Many disappointed by the quality of Rangnick's assistants
😳 Rangnick has been accused of 'having favourites'
😡 Lingard, Van de Beek, Bailly and Henderson among players who have become frustrated at lack of minutes
😫 Henderson 'desperate to play' but Rangnick won't let him leave

Up to 11 players are keen to leave Manchester United, having grown disillusioned with life at Old Trafford and rumours of a dressing-room crisis. (Mirror)

No surpise!
When after years of entitlement, complacency, and devastation on the pitch, a proper manager comes in who respects his position and has a little bit of decency,
the spoiled kids protest.
They are precisely like our Amigos
No one likes losing their privileges. Especially when you are paid hell lot of money to freeride on the pitch with no accountability.
Ole was their yes man, as Ernie had been for our Amigos

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

The system just makes no sense with this personnel. The only way you ever end up with creativity in the hole is if Fernandes or Sancho move there and unbalance the rest of the team, and give themselves loads of running to do. Instead you end up with McTominay in there, who can strike a ball, but that's about it. United probably looked better under Carrick than Ragnick.

This transfer window is pivotal for some clubs. To name just three:

Man U all eyes on Rangnick.

Newcastle the right players may keep them in PL.

Spurs. Will Levy give Conte any money? Can Conte take Spurs higher on existing squad?
