We will see if Lucho is better than Flick, as things stand he is

But give Flick the same roster of players Lucho had (defenders with IQ, forwards with technique and ability to beat their man, intelligent midfielders, good squad depth) and I think we would experience an offensive powerhouse with less defensive problems
Lucho's style is more of Barca style. That's what he has learned and developed after all. And player like Pedri may prefer to play under Lucho's style.

I like Lucho alot but he's had alot of money to spe d at PSG and alot 8f talented players at his disposal.
PSG have spent 400 million plus in the past two years. He also had MSN AND INIESTA AND BUSQUETS.
Flick on the other hand was given twi squads and told to make the best of what he has. Flick has a smaller body of work but I feel he's the better manager.
People forget Lucho flopped at Roma and was decent at Celta. I rate Emery over him too.

For all the much deserved credit flick gets for his attacking football.

No team in Europe has played more attractive football than his PSG.

The positional rotation of their players and how the full backs get forward and cut into the box is a joy to watch.

With flick you know where everyone will be except pedri, which is why he has zero legs now with PSG, everyone in their midfield is a pedri, constantly roaming from box to box.

The front 3 which positions multiple times during a game.

Good stuff mister, after a few years of iffy football.

Didn't think he had it in him. If he wins the CL it's his magnum opus. More impressive than his MSN/Barca stint.

Then again infinite cash helps.

Lucho didn’t flop at Roma. In his first top-flight season, he finished 7th in a completely different environment compared to Spanish football. Prior to his arrival, Roma finished 6th, and after his departure, they finished 7th again. He didn’t transform the team, but he also didn’t make them worse. Back then, Juventus, Milan, Inter, and Napoli were all much stronger teams. Politically, Totti had significant influence, much like Messi did at Barcelona. It’s not as if anyone could have transformed that Roma squad into Champions League contenders in just one season, especially not a rookie coach trying to implement a Barcelona-style of play in Italy.

On the other hand, at Celta Vigo, he took the team from the relegation zone to 9th place, finishing level with Valencia. He also promoted Barcelona B to Segunda, where they were competitive and consistently in the promotion spots again.

Then, of course, he won the treble with Barcelona, and many people dismissed it as "just MSN," as if the coach before him didn’t have the same core squad (with the exception of Suarez, who was supposedly a Champions League flop anyway). In 13/14 Barcelona even managed to draw their last three league games of the season, which allowed Atlético Madrid to snatch the title.

Something that goes under the radar is that Lucho's teams at their best are pretty good defensively. Barca conceded 21 goals in 38 games in 14/15 and 29 goals in 38 games in 15/16. This season at PSG he kept clean sheets away against Liverpool and Arsenal. Definitely not a coach who just throws talent upfront and says "go, do something". PSG had equally talented teams in the past yet this one is a machine with serious team work for the first time.

If he wins he can consider taking on a job in England or taking Bayern.
Would be something if he won 3 CLs in 3 different countries.
