that's a bit harsh. poor couple of games to be sure, but spain has played good football under Lucho before.

The midfield of his last season was a turtle Busquets, finished Rakitic and a Gomes LOL.

Valverde dominated Spanish football the following season with basically the same midfield but all of them even older

Valverde was good in 17/18, much better than expected but people has criticised him for his defensive football. Especially in roma we didnt even try to score a goal untill the 3-0.

Rakitic wasn't finished... Busquets is playing well even now with the right system, Iniesta was still really good and he bought Gomes and Turan.

Rakitic was bad as fuck since 16/17, its the first time since 5 years Busquets plays good, Iniesta was ok and Gomes/Turan were both diaster.

As reported by Cadena SER, Luis Enrique suffered a mishap before the match that Spain played against Kosovo, corresponding to the qualifying rounds for the Qatar 2022 World Cup and that ended with the result of 3-1, which made him arrive late to the La Cartuja stadium.
Apparently, the national coach was locked in the hotel elevator for about an hour with six members of the technical staff.
How could this happen in Spain? Would be more understandable if it was an away game and hosts would use some "dirty tricks" ahead of the game.
Also, we're playing Copa final in La Cartuja in two weeks. Let's hope we won't use the same hotel as Spain NT so Koeman or some of our players also won't stay in the elevator before the game. Probably better to just use stairs.

Solution is to hire a maintenance engineer on the coaching staff just in case.
