Option 4: Lucas Perez and a right-back

The Deportivo La Coruna forward would be a more economic option to strengthen the attack, given his price tag is around 14 million euros. That would leave money to sign a right-back to compete with Aleix Vidal and Sergi Roberto. With more money left over, the club may be tempted to go for Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) or Elseid Hysaj (Napoli).

He was really good during the first part of the season before Deportivo fell apart. wouldn't be a bad option if he was cheap.

Is it just me or most of the rumors, for the attack, are about players who ply their trade in Spain and the other only option being from Brazil does not seem too surprising?

Honestly reports say Sevilla are sticking with the buyout clause which is (40 Million) and Sampaoli, doesn't want to let Gamerio go either. seems like wishful thinking at this point by Robert our sporting director.

Gabriel Jesus would be a fantastic buy if we can hold off the other teams that are also after him. he's 19 but rated very highly by a lot of people.

I wouldn't mind him also but the question is can he play in Barcelona? Pressure in Barca is much bigger than in Deportivo and a lot of players who join from small club fail because of that pressure.. In my opinion we should look for somebody who wouldeventully replace Surez when he is gone, not just a back up striker.. My personal favorite is Gabriel Jesus.. If we manage to sign him, he is the future along with El Haddadi and Neymar..

Problem with Gabriel Jesus is he won't join us at least until January and we need backup for MSN now. Even then it would probably be the best to loan him for a season or season and half to La Liga club to get enough playing time. The worst thing would be to buy him and then let him root on the bench. That's why I think Perez would be a good option for 2-3 seasons if we can get him for around 15M.

Looks like he's on his way to Sevilla. I guess this means no Vietto then for Sevilla.

I could see Sevilla geting both. Gameiro will most likely leave, Llorente is close to joining Sociedad and they already sold Immobile so they need at least two new forwards and possibly three if Sampaoli will play 3-5-2 in some games.

But I really hope we'll get Perez. He'll be ideal backup for MSN. I'd give around 15M for him and send Munir on loan to Depor.
