Reports is buyout is 85mil and Bayern swirling (assuming thinking of CB bc they have Alaba). Relative to De Ligt, he might be more prudent to pursue--more of a sure thing young player to immediately improve our CB play (add a lot more speed to it) whole also spelling/understudy for Alba and maybe taking over there down the line. I would think Barca has a natural advantage with those other young french players and less of a cultural change (vs Bayern). Leaving Atletico for Barca isn't like leaving them for Real. This move would also hurt right now our toughest league rival, and a common CL late elimination potential opponent.

Don't think so. Lucas can play as a CB and if he'll play at LB Alaba could go to midfield. Bayern will spend big money to rejuvenate their team to become (more) competitive in Europe again so it wouldn't make much sense for them to sell Alaba.

Also, with Zidane back I believe Marcelo will stay in Madrid and they won't buy a new LB.
