While I like how this month has gone so far but it still amuses me how quickly some people are back to bootlicking the coach so quickly even though the flaws he has are still there.

Its bad on the Barca Subreddit in that regard.

The Clasico win was a mask. Being the last in line to shit on the worst Madrid side in at least a decade is good for Valverde's resume, but there are still many flaws for him to improve upon if he's going to stick around past the end of the season.

Can't believe we are unable to wisely use the great squad we have so that we end up playing the strongest team possible vs the likes of Huesca and Rayo. Abysmal management.

We're using the exact same lineup that we used against Real Madrid. We're literally playing the 19th place team as if they're our mortal enemies and greatest rivals. It's a joke

Hey man we won the Classico 5-1 there's no reason for us to ever criticize Valverde ever again/Sarcasm.

You can criticize him, but is it objective to do so when the starting line up didn't play midweek? I don't remember player rotating by resting for 10 days between games unless for injur/NT break.
And every bench player we have has played in midweek too.

Yes, it is. We'll see the same team vs Inter, which is 3 days away, literally. This is how injuries happen. Muscle oversolicitation is a major injury cause.

There was a statistic last year that our near 30 years old players have registered the most minutes out of any top team last year. Don't you think maybe that's one of the reasons why we keep being beaten in terms of intensity by almost every rival in CL knockouts?

Why are you disrespecting Rayo Vallecano , they are a complicated team. :coffee:

Valverde: "We know we have a very difficult team to face in Rayo, they need points... It will be very complicated."

Fucking Rafinha again!!! Can't wait for Messi to return, it's fucking depressing to watch Rafinha in starting 11 every single game! Not to mention the same line up over and over again with Inter game behind the corner! Is it so fucking hard to start Vidal, Semedo, Dembele or Malcom???

Considering how Rayo plays, it would be beneficial to have a much faster player like Dembele over Rafinha considering how slow Coutinho and Suarez are.

Rakitic played 4266 minutes last season. Kroos played 3570. Modric played 3339. So basically Rakitic played nearly 700 more minutes than Kroos last season, and nearly 1000 more minutes than Modric (the equivalent of 8 games more than Kroos, and 11 games more than Modric). Busquets played 4164. That's 600 more than Kroos and 800 more than Modric.

Busi and Rakitic played together 1800 more minutes than Modric and Kroos. That's 10 games each that they played more. It's a huge difference. 13 games is basically the full lenght of a CL campaign (6 games in groups, 2 games in last 16, 2 games in quarters, 2 games in semis and 1 game in the final).

That's one of the big reasons why they look sharp in march-april, while we look tired as fuck. Our star players have more mileage in their legs, compared with the ones from Madrid.

Rakitic consider how far Croatia got in the WC +ET games that went to pens, dudes legs are probably jelly right now and it's November.

 Would be hilarious to drop points tonight all things considered.

If you keep overplaying the same players at least fucking play great and build some momentum creating a 4 point gap with Atletico before we play them on Wanda.

Rafinha is such a boring player and not very good either.

What are even his qualities that justifies him being played on the wing in a 4-3-3? He can't run, he can't dribble, he can't finish. Well, that point sorta proves that it's in fact not a 4-3-3 but a 4-5-1.
