You could say that it's been one of his weaknesses throughout his career. Not the worst penalty taker(far from it) but it's 50/50 in crucial moments. The thing is Argentina don't really have decent PK takers. Di Maria isn't a specialist, and Lautaro missed about 30% of his penalties..
