The greatest and most talented player of all time. Only Maradona matches him in talent, but he doesn't have the career. He's the only one who rivals this guy.

This guy was truly bestowed with a football gift. Brad Pitt got insane good looks. Einstein got all-time level intelligence. Mozart and Beethoven were given musical genius.

He's on these guys' level in their field in the field of football.

We don't know what we had with him. Cristiano Ronaldo is a tremendous player too - taking nothing away from him - but I think we will see better players than Ronaldo in the future. I don't think we can even conceive of someone who's better at playing football than this man. It's testament to this man's brilliance that he makes other all-time greats like C Ronaldo and Zidane seem like lesser players to him.

The guy has so many weapons he can hurt you with qualitatively - probably the best dribbler ever, one of the best passers, some of the best vision, amazing in tight spaces. amazing left foot, all-time great level finisher and clincal-ness (is that a word?), can be a team player or an individualist, worked so hard on his free-kicks he's now one of the best ever at it statistically. I am probably missing some stuff too. On top of all that he's insanely good quantitatively as @KingLeo10 points out.

I do feel bad for Ronaldo. He's a brilliant player in his own right, but this guy is just an alien and just about every other player (except Maradona), would look bad next to Messi.

The word 'genius' seems to undersell him. It's truly been a pleasure watching him entertain us all with his above-humanity way of playing football. Words cannot express how much of a joy he was to watch, particularly in his peak at Barca.

Just saw the highlights, Messi looked like a 50 years old grandpa!
To Mara's post i agree there are not many guys in football history who can dribble, create chances and finishing like him but what i always criticised and what we saw yesterday again he always needs a top team to perform well. Anyways, i think its best for him to retire after WC, you cant fight against age. Although KL group made fun of CR after Al Nassr lost i will stay respectful 😬

Didnt need the team to beat whole Madrid defense in semis. Or the Getafe goal. Or Bilbao goal.

That people actually believe this drivel pisses me off to no end.

But then again, people believe Ronaldinho is better.

Trophyless season incoming, they won't beat any decent team without homecourt advantage in the playoff.

The hilarious thing is that miami had better supporting cast when he came than now, at least it was functional with athletic players who can run for him, they get rid of all these guys just to sign random useless argentinian bums lmao.

The team is still in a good position to win the Supporter's Shield as all the games are winnable. Have to win the Shield to have any chance of doing well in the playoff.

With Suarez and Busquet suspended, Miami's chances increases.
