One of the favourite goals of his, i remember i crashed the door in my pub because i knew we would go through after that. Shame i didnt crashed the door every season. Last time i crashed the door was after his free kick against liverpool. Maybe its a bad omen afterall, everytime i did this we went out in embarassing way from cl. I did crashed it after suarez scored against bayern too, guess what happened next

This goal proves Messi has the best shooting accuracy in world football. How he usually goes for top corner is just insane.

I agree with the posts about the top 10 list, especially about being too much post-2000s centric. I only began to watch football around 2005 so I can't comment on past eras, though I do have some thoughts:

-Number 4 may be too high for CR and everyone correctly pointed out that he became a stat-padder relatively early on his career, that his overall game even during his prime was lacking, that he was depending on a great Real Madrid team to feed him the chances, that his WC record is laughable etc...but: based on his achievements and sheer amount of goals alone, and yes his clutch moments, he deserves a spot in the top 10, there is no doubt about that.

-I can't comment a lot about R9 as he played a few years before my time, but I do have to say this about Ronaldinho. Don't get me wrong, Ronaldinho was the reason I and many people of my age got into football, but he is massively overrated. Even to this day if you ask 10 people on the street (growing up in that 2000s era, meaning aged 25-35) who was better: R9, Ronaldinho, Messi, CR or Zidane? I bet that the majority would say Ronaldinho. And that is pure nostalgia, I mean the guy won a WC, but as the 3rd attacking option. Then had 3-4 great years, but even during those years he only won 1 CL and underperformed in the WC. I mean imagine the backlash he would receive if this happened during the social media era. And then his form dropped like a bomb, it was really bad... If this is the standard for top 10 ALL TIME, then it is a sad realization for football. If we are talking top 10 primes, then I guess he has a good shot for top 10. But if we are talking careers, he is probably not even in the top 10 post-2000s...
Agree but Dinho wasn't just somebody in 2002 WC. He was an absolute key player for them.

2006 World Cup he didn't meet the expection. But he wasn't terrible as people thought.

Techincally, this goal is one of the best goals i've ever seen, friend of mine who was a coach and milanista said there is no pattern, no defending that. Just pure talent with power of belief, no man could stand in the way of that not happening, too bad our goat always needed someone to doubt him to perform on divine level. If i only knew that before, i would be the one to talk shit about him every day.

Look at the speed between the first touch and finish - all in one movement. That only occurs to the true geniuses, never mind actually successfully executing it.

You cant be Mr. CL with this CV:

0-4 Bayern
0-3 Juve
0-3 Roma
0-4 Liverpool
2-8 Bayern
1-4 PSG

Then also lost vs Bayern and Real with a great PSG team

He is a great dude but there are just too humilations to fight for the Mr. Cl award, i give him the Mr. La liga award, there he was top :)
1 carries the club as much as he can, while the other gets carried by his teammates, Papa Perez and his army of referees

Objective and accurate as usual.

Messi might have been Mr. Champions League though until Ronaldo renamed it the CR7 Champions League from 2014-2018.
